Hello Krew!

I can't begin to tell you how happy I am with this weekend went.   I went to Nashville on Thursday to rehearse.  I met Allison on Thursday afternoon and we rehearsed with Wayne Haun, the producer of the tracks.  Since he is such musical genius, he throws lots of thick, lush chords into the arrangments, and sometimes the harmony is hard to find so Alllison and myself needed a little coaching for our duet!   So we rehearsed at 3 pm on Thursday.  Thursday evening at 7 pm we had full choir rehearsal.  The choir was ready.  They knew all the songs,  they had their part down perfectly!

Friday afternoon, we had an ensemble rehearsal for a new song that Daryl Williams, Mary Brown and myself wrote, "The Potters Hands".   We got that one done and then the band came in to rehearse the songs that they were playing on.

Saturday afternoon, there was another ensemble rehearsal, another choir rehearsal, another band rehearsal and a technical walk thru.  Then at 6 pm, the doors opened and people started coming in.   I couldn't believe what I was seeing.   There were people from Texas,  New York City,  Boston, Detroit, Indianapolis, Erie PA, Sturgis Michigan,  Pensacola FL, The Mtns of NC, West Virginia, Atlanta GA, Tulsa Oklahoma, Lexington KY,  Arkansas, Virginia, Philadelphia PA, Starkville, Mississippi (aren't you proud of me for spelling that right!)  Gadsden, AL, Akron, Ohio, Cleveland, Ohio, Cartersville GA, Charlotte NC, Sarasota FL, Birmingham, AL, South Fulton Ky, Beckley WV, and many other places. There were even some from Tennessee!   There were lots and lots of KIRKS KREW shirts there and it looked GREAT!!!!  Thank you to all the Krew members who were there!

The excitement was great,  the audience was great,  the choir was great,  I sang a bunch of new songs, a few old ones, and it was a great service.  Several people came to the altar to pray at the end of the night which made it all worth the time and effort everyone put into it.

Dean and Mary Brown and I sang a song that the audience seemed to love!   We are now called the B & T Trio!  Crystal River wowed the audience with a few numbers.  Everyone loved them!

On Sunday morning, we started all over again.   The beauty of recording twice is so that you can go back and repair things that you messed up on the first time!    So on Sunday morning we re did a few,  and I do believe we got a few things right!    My special guest on Sunday morning was Allison Speer.  What a great soprano!  Great Day In the Morning!   She opens her mouth so wide, I am surprised there is any air left for anyone else!  But when she does, she sings like no one else!   We did a song that Daryl Williams and I wrote called "Oh Lamb Of Calvary".  It's a great song (if you will allow me to brag on one of the songs that I co-wrote) and the duet wouldn't have been complete without Allison belting out those high soprano notes!    At the end of that song, the audience stood and applauded for a long long time!   It was so goed, that we sang it again!   What a Blessing it was!

I have to say a special THANK YOU to Daryl Williams for working so hard with the choir.  The River of Life Choir was simply fantastic.  I have already had several calls from people about the choir!   They were definetly nothing short of wonderful!

Another special "thank you" to Pastor Johnny Minick.  I have never been treated kinder by a pastor!   He has re-charged my musical battery!

All the crew, the light guys, the recording people, the photographer,  the floor director, the camera men, the musicians, . . . .. everyone did such a great job.  God sure blessed me with some wonderful people to work with !

It was great to see Kenny Bishop there,  also Ed Hill and his wife came,  Faye Speer came and she was looking like a million dollars.  Always so classic, so perfectly put together!  She is one of my alltime favorites!   Rick Goodman was there,  The Steeles were there,  so many great friends showed up to wish me well and to worship with us.  It was more than a live recording, it was worship!   Hallelujah!  The Lord really blessed and my prayer is that people will be touched by what they feel when they listen to the CD or watch the DVD.

So many people have already emailed me wanting to know when it will be available.

We have lots of post production work to do. There is lots of editing, mixing, mastering, manufacturing to do .  It will take about a month or month and half before we will be ready to go to manufacturing.  Please continue to pray that the editing will go smoothly, all the repairs will move along swiftly and we can have product by Mid July!   Thats my goal!

If you would like to pre order your copy of the DVD or CD, please call my office at 865 933 2100.   We took some preorders this past weekend so they are stacking up already.   Call today to get your copy reserved.
