Hello Krew,
It was great seeing so many Krew members in
Gatlinburg this past weekend. I saw lots of the new
blue "Judge Not" shirts from the stage and then was
honored to meet a lot of you after I was finished
with my part of the concert. Thank you so much for
coming to the Gatlinburg Gathering. There are lots
of pictures that are
posted on the website.
I was honored to have Sarah Mentzer come and sing
"Oh Lamb Of Calvary" with me in Gatlinburg. Sarah is
from Knoxville, sings with a group called "Two or
More". I had so many people ask about her, she
really was a hit!
Saturday night as we sang in Gatlinburg, the Lord
really came in a special way as the Holy Spirit
moved in the Convention Center. It didn't feel like
a concert at all, it felt more like a true worship
service. Ray Flynn invited me back for the Sunday
Morning service so the next morning I went back to
Gatlinburg to sing a few songs before Jack Lassiter
spoke. I had thought that the Saturday night program
was good, but the Sunday Morning service was simply
unexplainable. At the end of the service, they made
an altar around the front of the stage and there
were hundreds of people who came forward. What a
great experience!
I met some people in Gatlinburg who are planning on
going on the cruise with us. They were excited and
of course we all are excited about the cruise. Feb
26-March 3, we will be boarding the SS Inspiration
and sailing to Cozumel and Grand Cayman Islands. I
will be singing aboard the ship each night, along
with a couple of other singers. We eat 10 times a
day, and there are all kinds of ship activities
during the daytime. On last years cruise, some of
our group participated in Bingo, Karaoke,
shuffleboard, the ice cream parlor, the pizza
parlor. . . . . . . . .you get the picture!
I hope several more people will sign up to go with
us. Please call the office 865 933 2100 to get more
info and a brochure.
Speaking of Cruise ships, Here are the top ten
silliest questions asked on a cruise ship.
10. Do these steps go up or down?
9. What do you do with the beautiful ice carvings
after they melt?
8. Which elevator do I take to get to the front of
the ship?
7. Does the crew sleep on the ship?
6. Is this island completely surrounded by water?
5. Does the ship make its own electricity?
4. Is it salt water in the toilets?
3. What elevation are we at?
2. There's a photographer on board who takes
pictures and then displays them the next day....the
question asked is "If the pictures aren't marked,
how will I know which ones are mine? 1. What time is
the midnight buffet being served?
I also wanted you to know that I am being played on
XM radio now. Channel 34, so if you have XM, tune
in.
