Hello Krew
I AM EXCITED. I just returned home with a truck load of CD's of the new
project, LIVE AT THE RIVER-My Story, My Song. We will be at the office for
the next few days getting the orders out. I listened to it all the way home
and I can honestly say, I am more proud of this project than any I have ever
done. The choir did a great job, my special guests, Crystal River, Dean and
Mary Brown, and Allison Speer did an outstanding job! The production from
Wayne Haun is the best I have ever had on a record! Everything is GREAT!!!!!
I hope every Krew member will place their order today! It's already listed
on the website store. The DVD's are not available yet, but you can go ahead
and order those and I will hold the order and not charge your card until we
have them in the office ready for shipping. If you have pre ordered both
pieces, CD and DVD, I hope you don't mind if I hold the CD's and put them in
the same package with the DVD.
If you want to call the office tomorrow and order the CD or the DVD, you may
also do it that way. 865 933 2100.

I want to welcome a lot of new Krew members who have signed up recently. Some
of you don't even know that you are now a part of the Kirk's Krew! So if I
refer to you as a Krew member, it means that you are signed up to receive the
newsletter to your email address.
___________________________________________________________________________
Let me again apologize to the people who use AOL. For some reason, most of
you have not been receiving the email newsletter. I have been on the phone
for days with AOL and they say that the problem is fixed, but honestly, I
don't know if it is or not. So I have decided to start posting the
newsletters on my webpage (kirktalley.com) so that everyone can have access to
them.

I had a great time this past weekend in West Virginia and North Carolina. The
concerts were great and I met some of the nicest people. Geoffrey Saunders
again invited me to the First Baptist Church in Danville WV. What a sweet
group of people. I picked at Geoffrey all night after he informed me that his
mother-in-law was the only person that called him Geoffrey!
Saturday night I was at Red Bank Bapt Church in Germanton, NC. The folks
there really were so nice and we had a great service. I got to help celebrate
a birthday of one of the Krew members. Janice and her sister Nokie were there
and we sang Happy Birthday to Janice. Even had a little chocolate cake with
her afterwards!
Sometimes in the audience there will be someone that is just the "natural
person" for me to pick at. At Red Bank Baptist, there was a man that was
sitting on the aisle, he smiled all night long, seemingly jovial, so I started
talking to him from the stage. I picked at him because his hair had that
really wide part in it (much like my dad's), He was very funny and played
along nicely. When I kept picking at the lady sitting beside him, she
informed me that they weren't married, but he was her husbands best friend.
Naturally I had fun with this! Then all of a sudden, this man informs me that
he was the pastor of the church where I was booked the next morning! TALK
ABOUT NERVOUS!!!!! He quickly told me that all was well, but I needed to be
on my best behavior the next morning!
The next morning at Germanton Baptist Church, he was in rare form again! I
can see why people go to his church. He keeps things interesting! Thanks
Dennis for making me feel so at home in your church and being such an
instrument of Grace and Peace in my life!
Sunday night I sang at Faith Baptist Church in the High Point area. The place
was packed, they had to put out extra chairs and even put people in the
choir. The local paper had run a full page story on me and my testimony and
had interviewed the church to see if they were worried about having me in
their pulpit. The church informed the paper that they weren't worried about
it and they felt like I needed to be there. That newspaper article sure got
the attention of the readers, they packed the place, many people who had never
heard of me before, many non church people who didn't know what Southern
Gospel Music is, showed up. The Lord truly blessed the congregation that
night. Many people openly wept as the Holy Spirit moved in the sanctuary. A
special thank you to Pat and Myra Masseroni and Pastor Stephen Welborn (see
his comment on my guest book) for all you did to make the evening wonderful to
me!

Don't forget the TRIO concert on August 20th in Maryville, TN. For those of
you who don't know who the Trio is, Anthony Burger, the best keyboard player
and pretty fair baritone, and Shane Dunlap, the most exciting lead singer in a
long time, join with me in forming the TRIO. We gather around the piano and
sing favorites. We have a lot of fun. We will have special guests, HIS OWN
this year, and possibly another special guest -SURPRISE!!!!!!!
You don't want to miss this evening. If you come in from out of town, please
plan to go to church with me the next morning at Maranatha Church of the
Harvest! I will even have directions for you that night.

Don't forget the Cruise to the Bahama Islands in April of 2006 April 24-26
The TRIO, along with a bunch more gospel singers will board the Sovereign Of
The Seas for a 5 day, 4 night cruise. The cruise line has alloted us 250
rooms and one of the ballrooms for our concerts every night. The price is
incredible. $599 per person for an inside room and $649.00 per person for an
outside room. This price includes everything except tips. We sail from Cape
Canaveral, FL to the Bahama Islands. We will eat about 5 times a day, enjoy a
lot of great scenery and hear some good Gospel Music.
The trip is selling quickly, so call my office and get your name on the
list. A $100 dollar deposit will hold the room, so don't hesitate, call 865
933 2100 and get your reservation.
I don't want anyone freakin so let me tell you this right up front. This is
not a Christian charter. There will be other people who are not Gospel Music
fans on this ship, so that means the bars will be open and the casino's will
be open and spittin out quarters! But we will have our own meeting room for
our concerts.
Call today!
Well, I have to get to bed, because I will be up unloading CD's in the morning
getting ready to start packing them! Be sure and go to
www.kirktalley.com and order your copy today, or call the office tomorrow.
