Just a quick reminder about this
weekend. Look forward to seeing a
lot of Krew members in Maiden, NC

As you know, I didn't sing this past
weekend. I went to Atlanta, GA to
work at the Gift and Apparel Mart. A
good friend of mine has a lamp
company. He has
permanent showrooms in Atlanta,
Chicago and Los Angeles. This year
is debuted a new line of lamps
called the Royal Albert. (Albert is
his last name)
All the promotion about the line has
featured a man in a tuxedo and
tails, top hat and gloves and a
cane. Several weeks ago, Bruce
called and asked me if I had
singing engagements that weekend.
When I said no, he asked me to come
to Atlanta and play the part of
"Royal Albert" during the weekend.
So I went and
stood outside his showroom and
laughed and cut up with buyers
walking by, enticing them into the A
Homestead Showroom. I had a great
time! Several people would look at
me and say "you look familiar." I
would laugh and say "Yes my name is
Gaither, Bill Gaither." One woman
actually believed me! I will have
pictures in
the miscellaneous page of the
website as soon as Bruce sends them
to me.
I had a great three days. But after
being on my feet in tux and tails,
by 8 pm at night, my feet were
killing me! I felt like I had been
to the Quartet Convention!!!!!!!
I have been getting so many good
comments on the new "Judge Not"
shirt. Ruth Smith of Cleveland, Ohio
loved the color! Ann Myers loved the
design in the
sand. Nancy Cargus loved it all, she
ordered a dozen! Check the shirt out
on the front page of the website.
