Hello Krew
Just a note to give you a recap of the weekend. I left home on Friday morning and flew up to Ohio to sing in Marion on Friday night. Nate Redman decided to promote a concert at the New River Valley High School and I sure enjoyed being there. I saw a lot of Krew members and had a great time singing with the Lyons Family. There are pictures on the website. I flew into Columbus and had a little extra time so I headed for Skyline Chili. I had my regular inverted three way dried with two cheese coneys. I found out that now Skyline has cheese inside of their coneys so that was something new! After lunch at Skyline, and a quick nap, I headed up to Marion. I just happened to pass another Skyline on my way north, so by that time, I could use some more chili!

Saturday I flew to St. Louis Missouri, singing down in East Cape Girardeau Saturday night. On my way down to Cape Girardeau, I called Danny and Ginger Pitchers, of the Lester Family. I met them at Steak and Shake and had a great time laughing and talking with them. They have always been some of my favorite people and it was so good to laugh with them again. God has led them into a church ministry and it was great to hear some of their new experiences.

Saturday night, Russell Dillingham and his wife Brenda (not Betty, as I have called her before) invited me to their church again and it was great to be there again. The East Cape Baptist Church is the only church I know of that has a soft serve ice cream dispenser in their fellowship hall, complete with a hot fudge container! Becky Glodo was so nice in helping arrange things again. It was great to see Ronda Canter and her beautiful baby, John and Pam Cook, Traci Clem and her parents, and Barbara Huffman. Barbara is a great writer and she has written several songs that I have recorded. I made her sing one and it was a blessing to the entire audience.

Sunday Morning, I sang in Jackson Missouri at the First General Baptist Church. Pastor Luther Rhodes was so nice to me, and we had two wonderful services there. In the second service, there were at least 30 people praying in the altar at the conclusion of the service. God really moved and the Holy Spirit really was present as people started coming to the altar as the spirit beckoned.

NEW T SHIRT AVAILABLE

I have a new shirt that is proving to be very popular. To go along with the new song, "Judge Not." Its a beautiful blue color with "sand" on the front of it. In the middle of the sand are the words "Judge Not, lest ye be judged" written as if they were written down in the sand. There are a couple of different shells and starfish that complete the nautical look. I had a lot of compliments on that shirt this weekend. I hope every Krew member will get one of these shirts to wear to my concerts and other concerts as well! There are pictures on the website now of the shirt. Dot and Nan modeled the shirt this weekend. You can order from the website store or you can call the office at 865 933 2100. Dot might even give you a deal if you call her with an order or 2 or more shirts.

Don't forget the Cruise to Cozumel and Grand Cayman. Several new people have signed up this past week and I am getting excited about the trip. If you have never been on a cruise before you need to go! And even if you have been on a cruise before you need to go this time with someone fun (me). Here's the information. Call Dot at the office and reserve your room. Feb 26-March 3, we will be escaping the cold wintery weather here in the states. I hope a lot of you are planning on coming to the Gatlinburg Gathering. There is no better place to be during Labor Day Weekend. The Gatlinburg Gathering is a great 3 day event that features the best Gospel Groups in the nation. The Hoppers, Talley Trio, Perry's, Triumphant Quartet, Greenes, Booth Brothers, Brian Free and Assurance, Mark Bishop, Tony Gore, and a lot of others......... DUH---I will be there too! I hope you are planning on coming to the Smokeys! Hope to see a bunch of Krew members there with their "Judge Not "shirts on!
