Hello Krew
Just wanted to tell you about some
new things. I met quite a few Krew
members this past
weekend in Virginia.
Sunday Morning, I was in Moneta, VA
at Eastlake Community Church. Pastor
Troy Keaton invited me to sing and
share in both morning services.
Moneta is a very beautiful little
place near Smith Mountain Lake. What
a beautiful place! We had two great
services. Some of you will remember
the name Troy Keaton from previous
newsletters. Troy was one of the
first pastors who extended Grace to
me over two years ago. He is a young
pastor who really has a heart for
people. He recently started this
church in Moneta and it's already
growing. I know the Lord has blessed
him and his family. With 4 kids, he
and his wife packed up and moved to
Moneta on faith, and started working
in the community and building this
church. Please pray for them as they
minister to the community. Check the
webpage for some of my pictures from
there.
Sunday evening, I traveled back to
Roanoke for a most wonderful service
at Jeff Keaton's church, Parkway
House of Prayer. Jeff Keaton is
Troy's brother. Both these guys are
great men and possess great humble
spirits that exudes what
Christianity should be. The church
on Sunday night was packed, the
ensemble sang "Lord I Worship You"
and "My, My, My" with me. We had a
great, great service. The entire
Keaton family has been in ministry
for years. Jeff and Troy's sister is
Kim Collingsworth of the
Collingsworth Family.

Tonight I took Pootie Puppy for a
walk down the street and saw Mark
and Kami (I called her Shelly in the
last newsletter). They were so
appreciative of all the hits they
got on their website after the last
newsletter. They even invited me to
dinner! So thank you, Krew members
for checkin out their website,

. A nice
gift basket would make a great
Father's Day gift. I hope you will
help them out in getting their
business off the ground. They are
such nice people!

I hope to see a bunch of you this
weekend in NC. Friday night in King,
NC will be an exciting night. The
Hoppers and Sons of Thunder will
join me for a very very special
concert, a benefit for the Hope
Pregnancy Center. The folks who have
put this together have really put a
lot of time and energy and money
into this evening. They have these
girls in their heart and we want to
help them with their outreach.
Please check out the info on the
website and call and order some
tickets. Hopefully if you live in
the triad area of NC, you have heard
about this. I know that one major
Gospel Radio station avoided
announcing the concert because I was
on the bill, but all the other
stations in the area announced it,
so I am hoping you will all come out
and support this worthy cause. Email
Ann McKenzie at
amckenzie@pacu.com for ticket
info.
Thanks again for praying for me.
Please pray for my schedule in July.
As you can see.......there isn't a
schedule for July! And I need there
to be one! Please pray for my Mom,
the sale of the autolube and I have
a good friend who is really going
through the fire right now, please
pray for her.
Hope to see you this weekend.
