HELLO KREW
Sitting hoping for some snow. They say we might
get some tonight, but not much predicted. I was
in Texas this past week and the weather was
beautiful, in the 60's and 70's. I couldn't
believe that I was there in February and the
weather was so nice! Speaking of Texas. . . . .
We had a great time in Tyler. The Trio, (Anthony
Burger, Shane Dunlap and myself) sang at
Colonial Hills Baptist Church. Laverne and
Glenda Grant brought us out there and it was
great to sing with the guys again. There is
never a dull moment when we are together. Shane
is an incredible lead singer. He goes right up
and pops the high notes with confidence and
finesse. I don't think I have ever heard him
sing flat!. He has a new project that is nothing
short of extraordinary. I hope some of you will
go to
www.shanedunlap.com
and order a copy!. And there is nothing I can
say about Anthony Burgers talent that hasn't
already been said. He is now MR STEINWAY, having
recently gotten an endorsement from Steinway! I
kidded him and told him I was going to call him
Stein MART!!!!!
Sunday I went to Stephenville Texas for a great
afternoon concert at Valley Grove Bapt Church. I
met some very nice people there and saw some
folks that I hadn't seen before. Mr and Mrs
Darrell Thompson hosted me there and they were
very nice to me. They ever brought me some
original Dr Pepper. They call it DUBLIN DR
PEPPER, since Dr Pepper started in Dublin Texas,
10 miles from Stephenville. The original has a
different taste to it. It's made with Imperial
Real Cane Sugar! Talk about a JOLT! I had one
before I sang and I was wired! I laughed and
said things I have never said before-hopefully I
will never say again!
I had a couple of days free in Dallas. I was
able to sleep late and relax. I found a couple
of malls that I have visited previous. The first
morning I was there, I was in the mood for some
good country cookin. I asked at the front desk
and they told me there was a place called
"Mama's Daughters Diner" nearby. So I set out to
find it! I was surprised to see that it was a
dive! It looked like an old gas station that had
been turned into a restaurant. But inside I was
pleasantly surprised! The baked chicken and
vegetables were incredible. Great cornbread and
wonderful Strawberry Banana pie! I loved the
cute sayings found on the wall! One said "Prices
may vary according to the customers attitude!" I
LOVED IT
I found out there are four of these restaurants
in the Dallas-Ft Worth area, and I intend to
find them all! If you live in the area, let me
know where they are! I would love to take the
Unfolding Majesty crew to one if there is one
close to Irving.
Speaking of Unfolding Majesty, I ask you to
write to TBN and ask them to put it back on the
air on Tuesday nights instead of the morning
shows.

Many of you ask every week about my mom. I was
up there yesterday. took Pootie Puppy. Mom loved
her! I haven't seen her laugh like that in a
long time! Pootie Puppy kinda took to her too!
Mom is doing about the same. Please continue to
pray for her and Dad.
Also keep the sale of the Autolube in your
prayers.
I hope to see all of you soon!
Oh I almost forgot, there is a picture of Pootie
Puppy now on the website, in the miscellaneous
pictures.
